It was complete. The scientist rubbed his hands together evilly. He had hid in the basement of FBEA for 7 years, avoiding detection in order to finish his greatest creation yet--a time portal to different worlds. Different worlds, you say? But they don't exist--except in fairy tales right? Well, they failed to mention the fact that fairy tales are TRUE. What you've been hearing has been nothing but LIES. It was designed that way of course, because only certain people can cross between worlds. If that delicate balance was upset, it could easily throw the entire universe into chaos. Cliche? Sure. But I bet you thought the movie "War of the Worlds" was fiction too, eh? That alone goes to show how little you know.

Anyhow, back to the scientist. His name was Bob. No, I'm serious. It's Bob. That's how he's been avoiding detection all these years. At 5'10" and 200+ lbs. he ain't your stealthy ninja. <_< Now Bob is a fairly smart guy. In that evil kinda way, but smart nonetheless. One thing he failed to realize however, was that Portals are very difficult to control. Coincidentally, this portal lead to the exact dimension from which RIN, the sword of the FBEA CEO originated. This world called to the sword and the sword wanted very much to go. It's not unlike when you travel. No matter how far you go, the best place to eat and sleep will always be home. The same emotions were coursing through RIN. She wanted badly to go home, after being brought here milleniums ago for some long forgotten reason. But a sword is bound by it's master. In this case, Kyrene. RIN had no choice but to bring her master along. That explains how Kyrene ended up where she is.

As for Bob, he was not the type of human that could cross between worlds with ease. He has set off to find someone or something to help him.

NOTE: ya i kinda suck at this, but oh well. it stretched my brain. this section explains how Kyrene ended up with Haishiro +Laurel.

Fenrir appeared in one of the corners.

He frowned. If only there weren't laws that forbid meddling with mortals. Of course, he could always create miracles/disasters on a large scale, but nothing could be done to individuals.

His eyes fell on Bob. This mortal had just interred with the time/space rules. Someone from the modern world had just traveled to the ancient world.

He disappeared.

Of course, not before he "accidentally" zapped Bob into the portal as well. There weren't rules that prevented him from 'accidentally" meddling, right?

OOC: Haha, Fenrir owns~!

Wind, water, fire, earth. Wind, water, fire, earth. Around and around Yugurehi spun, From wind to water to fire to earth. Which one would it be? Haishiro used this talisman board often enough, always at twilight though, since Yugurehi's sense worked best at that time. Suddenly Yugurehi glowed, flaming red then icy blue, the deepest orange to the brightest violet. What on earth was going on? She saw it. The colors--the times of the day--they were melding together. Someone had invoked VERY powerful magic.

Blackness engulfed her as a voice called inside her head. "Haishiro....Hey, Haishiro! OI!" What the? She knew that voice...it was...hers?! "Hey! Long time no see!"

"E-Excuse me?" Haishiro stuttered into the darkness.

The voice spoke. "I'm you, stupid. In you. Just like you're in me. Kinda like your conscience. Not really though. We're just different parts of the same person. Well, I'm you in a different world. The portal's not open for very long, but I just wanted to warn you. Be careful from now on, okay? Things are gonna get a little crazy. Oh! And one more thing. Watch out for Fe-----" the voice was cut off and Haishiro lost consciousness.

Laurel walked in a quiet room. Well, not so quiet. There was a huge gaping hole in the middle of it and nobody was there.

"Who in the right mind puts a big hole in the middle-" She was cut off. The hole grew bigger and eventually, she was forced to enter it. It was all darkness inside. There was no stars, no sky, no nothing. It was the land of nothing.

"HELLLP" she shouted, though her voice never reached far. It was...scary. There was no sound or light. It was almost as if she was dead and could feel nothing anymore.

Finally, her eyes closed and she drifted off...
