The assassin smacked her forehead in exasperation. JUST HOW MANY OF THESE FOOLS ARE GOING TO SHOW UP? , she wondered. "Oh, honestly, perhaps I should just wear The Sign on my head and paint my name on the top so I don't have to keep repeating it over and over and over again!" Haishiro puffed. Slowly she took in Kianus' features. "Ah, a wizard. Nice to know someone's come from my land into this bizarre place," she smiled dangerously as she said this.

"Eh, not exactly. I'm elf so I technically come from Alfheim while you Midgard. " he paused "You're not from Niflheim right? He paled. Dead people. That wasn't his expertise. He would never raise the dead. It was unethical as far as the code book goes. "So....I guess that makes us friends, right?" he asked the assassin. Being in the same world would surely mean something.

"Oh, sorry about that. Didn't notice your ears," that was HIGHLY UNUSUAL for an assassin to say. For an assassin to admit that she had MISSED something was outrageous. She unsheathed Yugurehi, and began to slowly polish it. She looked up. "I was raised in Midgard though I might have ventured to Niflheim whenever I did something stupid. Last time I was there was...oh...what, maybe a year ago? Two years maybe? Is it that dark place where Fenrir and Hel are?"

"It's alright. Everybody makes mistakes. Mistakes are a natural way of life. Why, I have made many mistakes in my life." He stopped. From what he remembered about himself, he was a quiet type. But, these humans were just so interesting to talk to. He paused when he released that the assassin had wiped her weapon so casually. He felt his hands grip towards Bifrost, just for comfort. "You know Lord Fenrir?" asked Rianus, eyes growing wide. He had gone to Nif a few times himself, but he would have never thought a human would have been able to return. Fenrir had warned him to take it easy when he had arrived. The god merely sighed and zapped him back to his world. He was paralyzed for weeks.

OOC: It seems as though Kyrene is frozen. XD "Mistakes get people like me killed. Perfection is key," she twitched. "N-no...not...not that! ARRRRGH!!!" Her armored hands gripped her head as she shook it from side to side. She held her hands slightly apart to avoid scratching herself from the sharp tips protruding from her hand armor. Eventually she stopped shaking. "Blasted perfection," she said. "That was what the Mastersmith used to say. PERFECTION! WEAPON PERFECTION! And yes, Yugurehi IS perfect, so leave me alone!" She seemed to notice that Kianus was still there. "Oh. Sorry about that. Are elves always so easy to talk to? Perhaps I'm going crazy again. I don't quite know..." the assassin thoughtfully stroked Yugurehi against the left side of her chin. She snapped out of her daze. "Oh! Right. Lord Fenrir? There is but one true Lord. I just call Fenrir...well, Fenrir." Haishiro looked up into the wizard's puzzled face. "Unusual for a human to be resurrected? That's what I thought at first too. But then I knew...there is no rest for me until I have fulfilled my mission." She paused. "I still don't know what it is though." Her armor clinked as she shrugged her shoulders.

(NOTE: good gracious i have trouble keeping track of all ur characters, tiff. @_@) -------------------------- It wasn't every day that a veteran business woman was fazed. But upon seeing this..this STRANGER teleport out of nowhere was enough to cause Kyrene's jaws to drop. "How did you do that?!?!?"

OOC: Hey, I'm a newbie too but I don't have that much trouble. There's three of 'em, Kianus the Elf-Wizard, Fenrir the God, and Laurel the Knight. XD Maybe I'm just used to dealing with multiple characters that represent the same person. Woot for RO! XD --- Haishiro turned to face the woman who was still staring at the wizard. The expression on her face didn't seem to suit her character. "Apparently this is your first time at experiencing Warp Portals." She shrugged. "I guess it's an unusual experience." Haishiro rolled her dagger around her wrist. "Hmm. This may solve it. Do you have such a thing called "magic" in your world?"

| "Magic?" asked Kianus, his ears perking up. This was getting to be his day. Anything related to magic was his business, well to him. The others might complain, but it was for the good of knowledge. "Hey, we're all friends! he exclaimed to the assassin. "No need to get your weapon ready." he laughed nervously. That was why he didn't like assassins. They were always so...touchy. He remembered once when he accidentally spilled a glass of water on one of them. Instant world of pain. Not. Haha. With his magical powers, literally, he was able to escape into a warp portal. Rianus never liked fighting. He was interested in the arts of healing, but no. That blasted mentor of his only knew dark magic. What was this world? Alfheim was for the light elves...mostly yet his master had the nerve to learn dark magic....

OOC: ... oh wait. I wonder if commentary is allowed? Umm...I guess. *shrugs* Dya eat your master?! The assassin blinked. "Weapon? Oh!" She sheathed her dagger again. "Sorry. Fingers fidget. Old thief habit." OOC: FYI Jenny, in RO, where my char's based, Thieves --> Assassins. Don't ask why. I don't know. She stuffed her hands into her pockets. Yes, as unbelievable as it seems, Haishiro's armor has pockets. How? She made them herself. XD "Hmm...maybe I should explain a little. Wizards, like him, I'm sure you've heard of wizards, right?" Haishiro didn't bother waiting for Kyrene's reaction. "Wizzies are magic experts. Warp portals, like the ones we used to appear here, are created from magic." Gloved fingers thoughtfully stroked her chin. "Mayhap...mayhap you know it by its sister, science. Sometimes they exist simultaneously in worlds, sometimes only one does. Science and magic in the same world is always a dangerous business though," she chuckled.

Kyrene stared at the assassin. "Are you high? Look, i'm not religious so i won't be accepting any pamphlets today okay? Everyone is entitled their own beliefs and i frankly do not wish to argue against your faith with all this magic or science or Satan stuff. I was born a Buddhist anyways."

| OOC: changed it to Kianus! I shall remember that name.... @hai: kianus does not eat meat =) "Excuse me...but what is a Buddhist?" asked Kianus, "Would you care to explain that religion? It sounds interesting..."Rianus relaxed when Haishiro released her dagger. God knows what could happened.

OOC: okay, so are Kianus and Rianus the same person??? confused...@_@ --------------------- Kyrene took a deep breath. In..Out..In..Out..THink of that next paycheck... She opened her eyes and snapped with irritation. "Look, sorry, but I don't exactly have time to explain right now. I have a very important meeting in this lounge in less than half an hour. I don't know who let you in but you guys are going to have to clear out."

Haishiro cocked her head. She felt something strange for a brief moment when Kyrene said the word "meeting". It was as though she had forgotten something in an absentminded kind of way. She twitched. Sparing again with this Kyrene woman (the stories are related, in the sense that the characters know each other once they meet in the lounge. Tiff & I agreed on this yesterday to avoid repeating intros). "I do not understand what you meant when you referred to me as "high". I am in fact, standing on the ground." Her eyes lit up as she remembered. "AH YES! THE ENVELOPE!" Haishiro exclaimed. She steadied herself. "Now that was quite unexpected." She shifted uncomfortably. What was with this strange world? It made her say unusual things. In fact...it was not even her that just exclaimed. It was the voice that had talked to her before she was transported. Perhaps...she was communicating to her other self? How strange. "Ah?" she looked up. "Ah yes, pardon the intrusion. Well, come along Elf-Wizard, it seems as though we must leave!"

"Already?" Kianus frowned, a bit disappointed. He was looking forward to this "Buddhist" talk. It could have been a new form of magic that he could have learned. He looked to Kyrene. Still, if she insisted, and it was her place after all... "Hey Haishiro, how do we leave? I can't use my magic!" He gulped. The portal wasn't opening. They were all stuck here, like sitting ducks.

"Beats me if I know," Haishiro answered. "How'd the other people leave? All I know is that I was dragged here when Yugurehi reacted to some sort of force and dragged me here." She stared at her sheathed dagger. "I don't think it'll take me back, either." She gave a quizzical glance to the elf and the woman.
